Future planning does not mean installing unnecessary devices. It means considering likely additions, allowing suitable space where practical and avoiding an arrangement that immediately becomes restrictive. A larger switchboard enclosure does not by itself increase the electricity available to the property. Supply capacity and maximum demand must be assessed separately.
